US Masters still in business?
 

I tried to call both the local and toll free numbers for US Masters, but the numbers are out of service. Does anyone know if they are still in business?

I don't know if they're still in business, but the only US Masters bass I've ever heard of or seen is a used one at the Guitar Center by me. It's a fiver for 650 bucks.

The only other one I've seen is one I got at a GC near me for $200, IIRC. Same as the one you're talking about, only with a mahogany body. It was a really nice bass, although not my cup of tea, aesthetically.

I'm going to be putting one up for sale that I had bought used a few years back . I wanted to get the specs on it so I had more information for a prospective buyer. Emailed and called, but no reply to the email and the phones don't appear to be valid anymore.

Unfortunately, the number listed is not in "temporarily not in service".

They always seemed to be slightly under the radar as a company. Loved every U.S. Masters bass I ever saw, however.

OK, I did find out some information. Looks like Young Guitars bought them out in 2011. Here is a link. Emailing Young to see if they have the specs for my bass.
