Picked this up last week. Got it at a very good price from a guy who needed money. Put on a set of La Bella Beatle Bass flats and it plays, sounds, looks perfect.

Its more comparable to the Ignition Hofner bass... and the same as all the million knock off violin bass instruments... but it sounds good though.

I don't have any pictures of mine handy. I'll post them when I get back to the states. Out of curiosity, is there any place that makes custom pick guards for the Hofner?
