Wacky pickguard thread?

I have a bass with one of each of the "standard" pickguard options. Black, white, tort, mint and gold anodized. I wanna switch things up a little bit, so I'm asking to see pics of your basses with pickguards that are different from the norm. I'm thinking maybe a custom paisley guard or a Hawaiian floral print. Anyone have some cool ideas to share?

Here's my CIJ '62RI P-bass in Ocean Turquoise with a black abalone guard from Tony @ Pickguardian. I wouldn't call it wacky:

...is that black leather? Do you play metal?

I wouldn't say mine is whacky, but perhaps unique as I've never seen another ваss with the type.

I just want to be included.

I really enjoy this. This is a good thread. Had enough of brown tort and other cliché colors.

Is that orange contact paper? Or is it a 3ply orange guard? I have a black P that would look good with a big flyers logo slapped in the middle of an orange guard

Where's that vinyl LP pickguard, with part of the label intact? That is pretty darn cool, I keep meaning to make myself one.

Regular 3 ply w-b-w guard, and a can of orange Rustoleum! That's the way I did it, though I'm sure there are better ways...I'll just say mine looks much better at a little bit of a distance

Ooh, I see it now that I'm on my PC. Doesn't matter; orange bass.

A sideways picture of some punk kid taking a picture in the bathroom mirror. Great.
