So, TMB, what are you thoughts on comparing a I, II, and III? I know you're pretty particular on basses so I assume each one is outstanding.

They all sound like Wal...thats for sure. The growl on the E string of the MKIII is FAB!
Will try and get some demos together..but im pretty busy ATM

Great tight sound especially when I have to tune down the E string even down to C and the A string to G (Mailman) but overall the bass is to hi-fi sounding for a Soundgarden tribute so I'll just stick to my Jazz Basses for that project...might give one of my Ric 4001's a whirl though but I'm pretty sure that wont be quite right for that sound either. That's what rehearsals are for.
