Grats to all the new basses, guys.

So, TMB, what are you thoughts on comparing a I, II, and III? I know you're pretty particular on basses so I assume each one is outstanding.

Im still fiddling with the set-ups on the 2 new basses. It took ALOT of adjusting to get the sound i wanted out of the MKII

They all sound like Wal...thats for sure. The growl on the E string of the MKIII is FAB!

Will try and get some demos together..but im pretty busy ATM

TMB

Just or the heck of it, I brought my Wal to my Soundgarden tribute band rehearsal the other night. Great tight sound especially when I have to tune down the E string even down to C and the A string to G (Mailman) but overall the bass is to hi-fi sounding for a Soundgarden tribute so I'll just stick to my Jazz Basses for that project...might give one of my Ric 4001's a whirl though but I'm pretty sure that wont be quite right for that sound either. That's what rehearsals are for.

Paul offers them for £18 + shipping.

He has a grey with black lettering like JAACA shows, but he offers one like this......

So, where do I order from? What is the pound to U.S. currency conversion? Does he take plastic?
