Some of you may have seen my thread where I was giving away a bass. Well, I got several people with stories and I decided to be fair I would put the TB usernames in a hat and pull them. A TBer by the name of DaveAceOfBass won the hat draw. Dave had a very compelling story of a young boy who wanted to play but did not have the means to do it. I shipped the bass to Dave and he set the action/intonation and gave it to him.

If I can afford it, I may try to give a bass away every Christmas! BIG thanks to everyone who offered up someone they felt was deserving as well as a few TBer's that offered to help with shipping and set up work: ChubbyJerk, waterboy and Smokin' Toaster.

Giving the gift of music to a child who otherwise, may not be able to afford it on their own. That's a gift he will remember for the rest of his life. TB members may have just spawned the next SMV-skilled member.
