This story gives me hope in mankind. I've seen just about every horror one can see, and have a pretty tough heart. My wife says it's a rock surrounded by barbed wire. Tyrek is a great kid and really deserves all of this. I'm sure you're all making a huge impact on his Christmas. In light of what happened in Connecticut, this really gives us some hope and joy in humanity to be thankful for this holiday season. I'm going to contribute too, with time after school for free lessons, a bass book, and a strap. He's technically not even in my class (he's in orchestra), but I'm going to teach him anyway!

Dave, I thank you for speaking out for the young man and his situation and mediating all of this as well as helping the kid with lessons, etc. You're a great guy!

Music has had a huge impact on my life, like many of us here. I'm really glad I was able to help and I want to do it again!
