Warmoth 8 String question

So I have been wanting an 8 string for a while to add to my stable. Found a Warmoth locally for $499 with a case exactly like this one. Can anyone tell me more about Warmoth, if this is a decent price, etc. Thanks!

Much depends on the skills of the person who put the parts together.

But the parts themselves were top notch when they left the factory.

Typically, warmoth instruments, like all parts instruments don't hold a lot of value unless what was built is precisely what the buyer desires.

Only having the instrument in your hand can you judge its value to you.
