Wow. What bridge pickup do you have on there?
Any reason you didn't go with the Quarter-Pounder to complement the P pickup?

It's a Hot for Jazz (STK-J2). I wanted a humbucker, not a single coil. Right now, those pickups are not in the bass anymore. I think I am going to put in a set of Rio Grande to get it more growly. I am drifting away from the QP's......too much highs and lows for me.....I want more of a midrangy sound.

Thanks dude. Just recently added a custom engraved neck plate with a photo of the kids on it, done by this guy. Top notch work, if anyone's planning on buying one.

SG body shape. Walnut body. Rosewood neck, Ziricote board, 34" scale. All gold hardware, twin Darkstar pups, Audere Z-mode with four bands of EQ. There's a gold thumbrest too (removed in this pic, hence the two marks between the top edges of the pups)

I'd love one of those, if Warmoth did short scale necks.

It's made by Hipshot. They have two and three string versions.

Just absolutely gorgeous... Honestly, there are alot of nice boutique quality basses that are players in this thread, but that thing really deserves to be treated with kit gloves. I'm all kinds of green.

Ok, I want in...... This is my first build, finally finished Warmoth Explorer bass next to my Lace Helix. I was so impressed with the sound of the Lace that I ordered the new Lace BassBar pickups for the Warmoth build. Took about 3 hours to assemble. Got it wired up, plugged it in, and OH MY GOD, the tone and sustain and action is unbelievable! It couldn't have turned out more perfect.

Swamp Ash body clear-coated
Bird's-Eye maple J-style neck with Bocote fretboard, Abalone dot inlays
Gold Gotoh tuners
Gold Hipshot thru-body single string bridges
Passive Lace Alumnitone Bassbars
Alchemy Gold stainless strings

Been playing bass for 35 years, owned about 20 basses, Gibsons, Fenders, Etc, this Warmoth is by far the best sounding best playing bass I've ever owned. Gonna do a Fenderbird build next, I'm a big JE fan. Great job Warmoth!
