I carved the body myself out of a single piece of bubinga. Way too heavy so the neck is now paired with a Squier body. That's now my primary bass.

... Remember when I posted in the previous thread, b|tching about how Warmoth didn't let you use the Custom Configurator to get a side jack in the '72 P-bass?
...well, guess what field just recently (as in, within the past two weeks) showed up in the '72 P-bass Configurator. Yep, that's right-- "Input Jack Rout"

O.o | So... would it help if we threw a couple packets of Top Ramen in the shipping box? Heck, what if we used Top Ramen for the packing material. That was one of my primary meals in leaner days...... |

I can't imagine too many people won't prefer it to the others. No idea why Warmoth feel the need to charge extra for it? This should be the default thickness. Can't really comment on the graphite rods yet, but they seem fine.
I bought a very light (4 lbs) body, pictured above and it's a bit neck heavy. I always thought the Warmoth '51/Tele headstock didn't look quite right. I found a picture of an original taken from above and resized it until the tuner holes lined up. You can see the difference in the photo. I'm going to reshape it, which should look better and help it be less neck heavy.
