I met the smaller version of Keith when he was touring with Hot Apple Pie. Aside from being a great player, he also seemed like a pretty decent guy. Playing upside down and backwards is hard to watch, though.

He is a great player. I'm checking out the other tracks as we speak. The only criticism I have is playing "The Chicken" at that tempo kills the groove. I first remember reading about Keith Horn years ago as a side bar in a Bass Player article about either Victor Wooten or Oteil Burbridge that mentioned him and James Genus.

Victor Wooten, James Genus, and Keith Horne, are all from the same part of Virginia,

And Oteil lived there before moving to Atlanta. That's why I can't remember if the article was on Victor or Oteil.

Keith is from slightly north west (Hopewell) of Hampton Roads where the Wootens (Newport News) and James Genus (Hampton) grew up. Oteil is from the DC area.

I know Oteil is from DC but on his brother Kofi's urging moved to the Virginia Beach area when he was around 19 for a couple of years before heading to Atlanta. So those 4 were mentioned in the sidebar.
