Warwick 4 String Spacing Inquiry

Sign in to disble this ad
Scoured the webs and came up short.

I'm looking to use a Warwick 4-string bridge and tailpiece assembly for a couple projects and was wondering if one of you Warwick 4-stringers could tell me what string spacing is at the bridge.

I'm hoping they're 19mm (0.75").

Thanks in advance!

Nevermind...found it on the Warwick FAQ section. 19mm. Whoohoo!

You can set the string spacing anyway you like it - those small black saddle pieces are not fixed, they can be moved left - right, so you can set a custom string spacing.

Ok, here's another question. Those bridges look fairly tall. Do they sit in body-routs (sunk into the body)?

Yes, they sit in body routes. You can see them if you angle the body right:

Aw crud. Shoulda thought about that before ordering three assemblies. My routing skills leave much to be desired. I'd tackle it if my body wasn't already finished.

Anyone have a rough idea how deep these routs are?
