On the surface it looks pretty normal, I'm half tempted to make an offer, but the more I look the more I convince myself that it would have to be aquired for next to nothing to salvage it. I predict refinishing it, fabricating bezels for the pickups, and the control cavity panel, as well as plugging some of the random holes in the body.

Could be a good bass, but you'd have to undo all the damage first.
I think the price is too high given the state its in.

Only buy it if you really enjoy messing about with sad basses...and the fact that you ask the original question suggests you aren't. And certainly not at the asking price: 200 sounds like absolute tops.

I have enough orphan basses as it is. I'd love to know what this guy was thinking when he started hacking away.
