That's a great deal. My Corvette's a 97 bubinga German fretless and it sounds fantastic.

Strictly from a value perspective, that's pretty good. If it's a post-98, w/an ovangkol neck, I'd want to flip it; pre-98/wenge- for me- a confirmed keeper.

I'm in the same boat. Just bought a 1998 FNA with wenge neck and think its a life keeper. LOVE it! We will see how this std plays and go from there. I'll probably sell it. Also have a German fretless std I'm trying to get rid of

The going used price for a STD 4 string is $550 and for a 5 string is $700. Got get it quick!
