| Do you have any pics of this bass? If it is a German 'vette standard, or even if it is the newer Korean made Pro Series, $850 is an alright price, that is if the bass is in really good condition. Check the serial number. The last 2 numbers dictate the year of manufacture (K-xxxx-08 for 2008, for example). I'm not completely sure of the exact year, but I wanna say they started making the 'vette standards as the Pro Series in Korea in '08 or '09. Also if the neck is Ovangkol with Ekanga stringers, it's definitely a Pro Series. The Corvette Standard was basically Warwick's low-end bass before they came out with the RockBass series, however the craftsmanship and materials used were very solid. I've played on a few of them and they have good playability and a good tone to them, maybe not as good as say a Corvette FNA Jazzman or Corvette $$, but still pretty decent.
