Just wish I could slap more than a couple very rudimentary riffs!

It is kind of a silly questions as it would not change my opinion of these incredible basses one iota, it's just something that occurred to me to ask. They were in production for about 7 years so surely there must have been some pro endorsers back in the day.
Anyone have any knowledge?
Thanks! |

Thanks! | Anyone? Or is this way of you guys letting me know that there wasn't a single endorsing artist who played our beloved Fortress? |

I realize, of course, that they continue to make the Rockbass fortress, but that's just a tease |

Was thinking of some sort of metallic sparkle but would love to get suggestions from the club. What do you guys think? What would be the dream finish for an older F1? |

I thought a metallic would be cool as kind of a nod to our beloved Flashbacks.
Whaddaya think?

Based on the strap button NOT being countersunk/flush mounted, I would say yours is circa 1999 or 2000. Is that correct? And does that mean you have one of the rare birds with an Ovangkol neck? If so, we will need to see more pictures please!!!! |

I wish they'd come out with a standard German built model again. Great basses.
