Both Prolines
Bass A
About 5 years old. ocean blue, missing a knob, otherwise good condition
Bass B
93 model. Natural. $175 (correction, Bass A came down in price so its about $215) more than bass A. Original PUs were taken out and is now active only with Duncans.
Which one is the better deal?

The 93 is $640 + tax. I also noticed that B doesn't have recessed strap locks. Forgot to mention the salesperson said those were upgraded too. I like the natural better than the blue and fell of ovangko better than wenge but I like the medium size necks on older W's and the chrome hardware better than the gold. But I'm also a stickler for keeping things original. If he had the original PUPs with the duncans I would like it better.

You can then take the savings and upgrade the pickups to whatever you want, if you still feel the need to do so. But, then, I like ocean blue Warwicks.

All early corvette I played were great basses.
And 99% you'd get the wengé neck, which is enough a good reason for paying more

My two cents worth.... |
