So I ordered a bass from warwick. Warwick Basses Amps & Rock'n Roll They said they won't make a run of them for about 3 months. Has anyone else done this and possibly got it sooner? I'm SO EXCITED.

Thank you, I ordered mine through my local store as well but they don't sell the fretless model so they had to get it from Warwick. MAN CAN'T WAIT.

They didn't have the one I wanted at musicians friend. I also live in Canada we don't have guitar center. I'm also 17 with no credit card, so buying stuff on line is a pain

Ah, cool.

So, did you go for fretted or fretless? And colour?

I approve

When it arrives, please can you post in the forum and let us know what you think of it?

I've been considering a rockbass streamer, but having owned 3 german warwicks (and still own one) I'm not sure what they would be like.

THAT'S GORGEOUS. OH MY. Are the german ones worth the extra cash?

I don't honestly know as I've never played a non-german Warwick. I guess I've spoiled myself in that sense. But I've heard that they're worth every penny.

If you don't mind me asking, how much will you be paying for the one you ordered (assuming you haven't paid already)? You might find that if you don't mind going used, you could get a German one for similar cash.

I'm gonna see if I can find you some examples...

Have a look at these for some examples of the crazy prices you can get these for I'm guessing the prices will all be in USD. The German Corvette standards seem to go for $500-$600, and the double bucks for a bit more, understandably.

Fretless corvette for $550 - Warwick Corvette Std. 4 Fretless Passive

FS/FT German Warwick Corvette Std. Ash

And, if you're interested, here's mine. Although she's not for sale and never will be
