I am stoked to have this. In the past I have had issues with the weight on some of the late 90's full wenge neck models (I ask myself, I must be getting old?). This gives me the Warwick styling and all the classic growl without weighing me down. The last two photos have the the sun setting but in the shade, letting the details of the finish come out. The Bass Place had two of these models, number 6 and 10. I ended up getting 10. Its a cool feeling only having something that only 11 were made of.

I think it's one of Warwick's more underrated models. All the comfort of the streamer, with the versatility of the $$ config... it's perfect!

I wonder if Warwick plans on any of them shipping with "normal" hardware? Maybe black. Even gold, and gold has always been too bling bling for my taste but it would look nice on that bass.
Congrats on the new bass, icky hardware and all! |

The wood underneath really shines through which gives it elusive tactile experience. But when you drag you fingers over it texturally it feels rusted. Pretty interesting total feeling once strapped up. The balance is nice the 9.1lbs feels a lot less. I finally got to jam with some family and really fell in love with it. It's got a great sound when digging in. The brass fret buzz with wenge board, maple and ekanga neck combo has a real solid feel but not overly dense. The ergonomics sitting balance is great but where it shines is on strap. Maybe the combo of woods or the cut or both, but its fantastic. In the right light the wenge has such a beautiful grain. This bass grabs lots of attention. Yesterday, with lots family in the house for turkey day, the instrument received lots of compliments and attention. Makes me smile! Thanks Warwick!
