Some people were asking about posting the 2011 namm basses. Played this one there and just got in. Great bass, organic tone. Consistent neck. Very well crafted. Etc!!

I was mentally expecting something Bootsy would play.

Nice looking bass!

What's the string spacing at the bridge?

Active or passive?

Passive, that was a deal breaker for me. I can't stand actives. I like natural tone from the body and pickup without the help of voltage. Have jazz basses with nordstrands and lindy fralin passives and incredible tone.

That is one great looking bass.

How is the approximate weight/balance?

And I agree, passive Warwicks sound great...!

Just noticed another little geek fact about this star bass...serial number is 000002-10
Wouldn't that mean 2nd one built in 2010?

If you ever decide to Darkstar that thing, I'm in the market for an MEC Starbass pickup...

Other than that, your bass rocks.
