| The Stage I and II are neck-thru models, while the LX is bolt on, so they're different animals. The Stage II has an ovangkol/afzelia neck, while the Stage I has maple. Both have wenge fingerboards. I'm more of a Thumb guy, but I'd guess the Stage II is growlier from the neck woods.
A new Stage II is about $4600 from Musicians Friend, and the Stage I can be had for about $3500. On Ebay, I see a new German LX for about $2500, and the Korean one for $1500. Big variation in pricing.
I have some German Warwicks that I really like, but I haven't tried the Korean models. I'd be willing to at least try them if I ever see one.
