Hello all this is my first post on TB after lurking for a few months and I come with a question. I am a student so my budget is extremely limited and I am looking for a fretless six string and was thinking a warwick thumb nt with a threw neck. I have been looking for days I cant find a price other than the warwick catalog which lists $7500 which I know is too much but I dont know how much I'm looking to save up so if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Im not looking for one thats cheap I am just looking to see how long Ill be eating ramen, I can find fretted thumb NT's for $3000 and a $4000 price difference just seems oddly inconsistent.

Well if you don't find anything in the classifieds here you could try warwicks own forum classified section. Good luck! I owned one once, it had a very narrow string spacing, which I couldn't get completely used to. Other than that it was only the weight and balance problem to cope with. Sounded very good though. 2 soap Bartolinis.

Bass Central has a Bolt-on fretless 6 (towards the bottom of page)
http://www.basscentral.com/warwick/thumb_bolt_on.shtml

for $3300
I'd guess about $800-$1000 more for a thru-neck?
