New for '11?
Anyone play it?
Does it sound like the original?
Could this mean I might be able to afford one? http://www.warwick.de/modules/produk...hp?katID=23992

| | | | They're new; MIK (like the Corvette Pro). It has a maple neck. The available finishes are: High Polish and Stain High Polish (Natural HP, Black HP and Nirvana Black St HP). Other than that, we need to wait until these start showing up in stores.

| | Marco Bass Endorser Endorsing Artist: Marco Bass Guitars | | | | | A used bolt on thumb can be had all day for under 1200. Why not go that route. Heck I got my nt for less |

| | | | I've got one of these, had it for about six months, rehearsed with it, etc. Sounds great, sounds like a Thumb with the classic growl, flexible sounds, and it's very nice to play (though factory setup QC seems to suck because the setup was just bad out of the box). After a fair bit of setup work on my part it's definitely one of the most comfortable bases I've ever played, and I am very picky when it comes to setups. It's also really solid and well put together, which are definitely big factors for me.
Anything else you wanna know about 'em? (that is, from a real owner and not some marketing guy) |

Originally Posted by Flaked Beans Neck dive? | Yea, there is some, but it's no more than any other Thumb I've ever tried. Then again, they're all still hardwoods so maybe any difference is indiscernable. Either way, it's nothing a wide leather strap won't fix, as I've found is generally the case with all neck-dive.
Also, if what was written above is true, could someone please show me where a 2nd-hand NT Thumb can be had for under $1200, while still in good condition? Even though I'm sticking to my "no more gear till I get professional" pact...
