Weight of your '75 american Jazz RI?

Hi all,
Trying to get an estimate on the AMERICAN '75 RI jazzes with the ash body.
Someone somewhere said 8.5lb and another site had one at 4.7kg, (10.3lb).
So what's the real story?

They're all different. They are all different pieces of wood. Mine was 9lbs. I've seen some that were 8 and some that we're 11.

Hmm, thanks for the info. Guess I'll just have to search some out and get my hands on them.

Mine is just under 10 lbs

Mine is just under 9 lbs.

I have played 3 others over the years and all were heavier. Light ones do exist, but I think this model, as a whole, are in the medium to slightly heavy range.

Mine is 9 lbs 8 and 3/4 ounces......and I love every pound of it!
