What 5 string bass has the best feeling/playing neck?

Marcus Miller 5 hands down, not even a contest but I have not been playing that long and I'm sure you guys have some other suggestions.

(I guess the original question should have read, What 5 string bass has the best feeling/playing neck (To YOU)?

Everybody has different size and shape of hands, different playing technique, and different preferences.

I'd say the best one is my Jackson Concert V Pro, but nobody would believe me.

Exar's business is on hold for now. I will still help previous customers.

Lakland for me, with the old Tobias asymmetrical in a fairly distant second. Everybody's mileage may vary....

It all depends on what type of bass ... Custom, Boutique, or Mainstream (ie. Fender, Peavey, Ibanez)?

IMO ...

Custom: Garz (the most comfortable necks I've ever played)
Boutique: Elrick, Pedulla Rapture
Mainstream: Peavey TL and Cirrus series basses

Fodera Monarch!
I'm biased though but in my opinion it's the truth!

Peace

What Bongo said.
For me, it's F-Bass, Kinal, or Dingwall. I've even had a couple nice Carvins...
Never was fussy about the Fender fivers.

I'm sure he was being facetious, and SX's take a lot of crap from people on these forums, but I love my SX 5'er. Not saying it's better than everything out there, not saying it's worse, but it fits my hands well. Considering the complete subjectivity of this question, that's my final answer and I'm sticking to it.

The neck on my Cliff Bordwell Perfomance 5 was one of my favorites. The neck on my Skyline DJ5 is pretty nice too, but entirely different.

The best feeling 5er neck I've played is a Lakland. I still love my SR5. Though the neck is a bit chunky, I still like the feel of it. The string spacing is a bit on the narrow side.

Carvin Bunny Brunel model BB75. 19mm at the bridge but thin front to back with an asymmetrical cut (thinner on the G string side). Best feeling 5'er neck for me.

I'm split. I love Pete Skjold's necks. He's got this way of finishing a neck that just seems perfect to me. Also, Lakland has a great shape. The 55-94's are hard to beat. I also love the way Nino shaped my Valenti J5. So smooth and extremely playable. It's a toss up but Skjold beats them out by a nose IMO.
