Looks like an older model. I think the newer ones have the Strat style jack.

It's an older Aerodyne J. I'm pretty sure this is one of the ones that were made and sold in countries outside of the US. As far as I know, in the US we only have the black version available, but in other countries there are/were other colors and fretboard combinations available like you see here. Nice bass by the way. Most likely CIJ by the way.

Right--those aren't the tophat knobs; that ain't a Fender bridge.

Fender Japan with a different neck. I do not believe Aerodynes came with a maple neck with pearloid inlays...
