So, what's the consensus? Should "played" be in quotes this year...?

On a related note, the guitarist probably should have put a little more effort into her lead tone than how she looked with those sparklers shooting off the headstock and body point. Her tone was awful. And she was playing a Jackson RR1 since we're talking about what the bassist played.
I would bet ALL the music was prerecorded. Miss Beyonce sang along/over this time (not just lip-sync), with some real hoop-n-hollers tossed in for "live-vocal" effect.

EBMM Stealth 5 string HH with DR White Neon strings, as featured on the DR Strings facebook page. Good shots of the bass and player Lauren Taneil.

I guess these strings are brand new and made their debut tonight on TV.

I'm pretty sure you can probably blame the sound guy on that one.

I saw a lot of gyration and thrusting myself.

Didnt hear any bass at all when the camera focused on the bass player didn't have any trouble hearing the horns when they got their cameo right after the bass.

I normally sit and take the agony of half-time shows in stride, but honestly, this year (and the Black Eye Peas performance) I just turned the channel.

The show was meh. It's a shame the wasted the blackout during the game, instead of the show.

I thought the Destiny's Child reunion was exciting. I mean the whole thing was kind of a shitshoot, but it was fun and I didn't take it very seriously at all.

Missed it, we turned on the Puppy Bowl for half time! I will never understand that genre.

The same part we were looking at now clearly identifies it as a Stealth Stingray HH...I didn't watch any of it. Did Lance Armstrong win?

That is one hot picture... I am loving the white strings... I hated the neon green pair I played but damn they look cool.

Because I'm in that sort of business: does nobody here see anything amazing about a show like that being assembled, under way and completed in TWELVE MINUTES?

So, whoever it was, used a Stealth, used new white colored strings and got LOTS of endorsements by faking a half-time concert!!!!! Wow! I'd LOVE to make money that way! ...except I have no stage presence, to speak of... It's all in the "SHOW", BABY! Seriously,,, even if they "faked" it, the original cut probably used her bass and that's the sound you're hearing, so if it's a Stealth, then that's what you're hearing.
Either way.... Whatever!
