It's been almost a year and the wait looks like another 3 months left. It's been killing me but I get to go over and see the progress and it is a real work of art. |

It will be a Paul Turner (Jamiroquai) style bass, white with matching headstock, binding, lines, red tort precision pickguard, alder body, maple neck with ebony fingerboard. Dreaming of it every night...

I really wanted this bass to be an end-all be-all for me so I spent HOURS searching the net for exactly the right woods. What's even cooler is there's going to be a trans black stain on the burl, which will only adhere to the softer parts of the wood, so it will get a crazy two-toned effect =D Every time I look at these pictures it makes my stomach hurt i want it so bad! lol!

| | | | I have had a fretted 4 string Wal Mark II with a Birdseye Maple top on order since April. I have another year to go (ETA next November). I try not to think about it but threads like this make it real hard. Thanks. |

| | | That Cataldo is something else! Fortunately you've got a couple of other Blue NR's to keep you company until tomorow!
As for me, I'm eagerly awaiting my new Gibson Pelham Blue NR which is set to arrive shortly. I've been waiting for a PB NR since I first saw one in a coffee-table book 17 years ago. Quote:

Does Darren have a website or FB page for his basses? I really liked playing the ones he brought to the last GTG, and was jealous of the guy who won the GTG giveaway bass. Quote:
