It's also great because I can honestly say it's not a fender that I modded...it's a crate electra body with everything else bought aftermarket. Totally my pride and joy bass...a lot of work but totally worth every bit of it

Actually, whenever I take 'ol Banjozilla out to a bluegrass festival, I spend most of my time demonstrating it and answering questions. It's always a crowd pleaser. And kind of hard to ignore.
It just turned 20. I built it back in 1991-1992. It still stands guard in the office hall of my shop.
