What Brand Of Basses Do You Prefer?

I haven't touch many basses but a squier, rogue, and silvertone! But I was curious to know other peoples favorites?

I was always a Schecter guy. Love their stuff. Still do. But then I got my Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass, and I can't put it down. Feels and plays SOOOOOO right!
So I'm currently conflicted. I think maybe I should try a Schecter Jazz. Maybe that would be 'Home'.

I have no particular brand preference. I've played a number of brands in the past, half of those instruments having been Fenders. Presently, the one getting the most play is a Warwick Streamer LX.

Not too surprising, I would guess, but my favorite is Fodera. I never realized what a super high end bass could feel like, until I had one in my hands. Now I know...and there's no going back. That said, I have a Custom Shop Fender '64 NOS Jazz Bass which is very nice, too...so I have to say, Fender is number 2 for me!

I like a lot of basses, I don't discriminate. As of right now, Lakland is probably my favorite. That might change tomorrow, but they would be top 3 no matter what when I'm asked in the future.

Right now? Alembic. About nine months ago? Ernie Ball. This time last year? ESP. Eighteen months ago? Fender. About two years ago? Ibanez. Two and a half years ago? Rickenbacker.

I have had a number...Ric, Steinberger, Fender, Danelectro, Musicman, Tobias...probably some others. For the last 18 years it has been Fender. Specifically Jazz. I loved all of the others, but I always come back to Fender. They just feel right.
