That's so optimistic.

G&L is what I've been playing for the last few years.
Before that it was my old MIJ Yamaha BBs.
Before that it was my MIA Reverend.

I've been a G&L fan for the last couple of years. I'm not crazy about the looks, but they feel right...and the tone is what I'm looking for in a bass.

Also, upper-end Peaveys.

I've owned, and still own alot of different ones, and I would have to say without a doubt My Germany Warwick Double buck corvette and then my Germany Warwick Fortress, next My Fender American Dlx P,and after that the MusicMan Stingray. But the Double buck just gets every tone I could ever want and/or imagine ...and then some. And with the clearest note definition hands down. If I had to ever own just one ,it'd be the $$ Corvette. One I dislike the most= Rickenbacker 4003

I prefer the brands I own. In alphabetical order:

Breedlove
F Bass
Fender
Fodera
Jerzy Drozd
Lakland
LeCompte
Sadowsky
Yamaha

I also like others I have owned, including Pedulla, Roscoe, and Zon.

Each brand and model has its own endearing characteristics. There are lots of other brands out there that are comparable in many aspects.
