Pay the rush charge. Get it back no later than the next day.

Other than that, do it yourself.

I might do this, but if I don't, I have a reasonable excuse to buy another bass

During Hurricane Sandy (may her beard wither) I was without power for some days so I couldn't play bass. Since then, I've been thinking about getting an acoustic guitar to fart around with. So that will most likely be my next purchase. Just need to sell the excess instruments I have laying around.

Play the other one. Or play the doghouse. Or be a guitard.

2-3 weeks is a bit ridiculous, but maybe the guy doesn't want to turn the truss rod more than 1/4 turn every few days.

I can't decide what's crazier, that it takes several weeks to do a setup, or that there are still people who only have one bass

LMAO.

I will tell this to the War Department as she is on an anti-clutter rampage and has now decided that basses are clutter.

Second thought, I'll rotate them into the shop for 2-3 weeks at a time so she doesn't see them!!

I'm looking for another, just found a Peavey Foundation, not sure if I can afford to buy it though.

Ok, I talked the guy down off his price, and it looks like I'll be adding a Peavey to my meager collection

Just bought the Peavey Foundation, she's a little rough around the edges, but nothing too bad. I'll put up some pics later tonight in this thread.

Some stuff doesn't look like it would be right, like the neck plate. I don't really know anything about these basses, does anything look strage to you guys?
