Don't know why, they intrigue me.
Doubtful I'd even play one enough to justify owning one, I love my Ricks and always will, but the Bongo is somehow seductive.
I don't like active instruments at all, either.

I'd also really like to try an old Mockingbird with the duo split-coils.
YYS for sure, Monarch with a pj config. USA NS series, pj config too, maybe even a 5 if it's not too tight at the bridge.
And an Epic, before I have to friggin by one already...
