I'd have put in a tone knob, but to each his own. It still sounds pretty sweet.

You could get something pretty close to that without spending a ton. Squier makes a P/J.

Also, if you haven't tried Circle K strings yet. You should.

Funny you should say that because I actually have a PJ squier, I suppose it kinda inspired my idea

Maybe even use some stacked knobs so you get everything you want and more!

I don't see the point of going through custom shop for something like that. Its a pj setup with a master volume and a 3 way pickup selector knob with quarter pounders. Seems like it would cost you wayyyyy more money to have fender do it then you to buy a mim pj combo and do what you want to it. I mean its cool but it sounds expensive for no reason other then the custom shop part. Nonetheless I would probably buy one though lol

You can do the same thing with an SX. Doesn't stop people from buying Laklands.
