You can get it at Home Depot. About $8 bucks for a bottle that will last nearly forever. A very good tech friend of mine turned me on to this stuff. Smells great too...

I have an Ibanez 1306PM with a Padauk body and wedge board. It appears to be some kind of oil finish. How should I clean and feed that?

I use compressed air for cleaning the little gaps between pickups and the body and hard to reach areas like the little spaces on the bridge. For the body I only use a glasses cleaning cloth... And sometimes if I want them to look shiny and fancy for a gig or something I apply a little amount of Armor All and it also prevents dust and sweat to stick to them. Lemon oil for rosewood fretboard.

Pledge or something similar. I mean, I've got furniture in my house that costs more than my bass and it gets Pledge so why not?

'Cause very few of your chairs or tables have strings or electronics. There may be exceptions.

That's what gets me about all the people saying "Windex". The active agent in Windex is ammonia. Are these people unaware of the hazards of ammonia around electronics, or do they simply not care?

lol

No one is saying to dunk the bass in a barrel of Windex.

No need to overthink a simple cleanup job, folks. It's just a guitar, not the Space Shuttle.
