What exactly do I have here? (MIK Squier Jazz)

I went up into my attic and pulled out my old bass from when I was in college.

I think I bought it in '92. It was already very used at that point.

I saw lots of post of people talking about how a Squier could be a good bass, I always looked down upon it for some reason.

So I took the neck off to see if I could find any identifying marks and I found this sticker.

It's slightly out of focus but maybe someone here might have a clue as to what exactly I'm looking at.

The pickups poles are rusted and the jack has got a wire loose, but it seems to be a solid bass.

I guess I'm just wondering if it would be worth it for me to get it cleaned up to sell.

Thanks for any info!

Chris

Take a picture of the neck pocket so you can see what knd of wood it's is (solid or plywood). And the serial number would help.

Most of the MIK Fenders I've come across have plywood bodies and, in general, are considered to be good but very basic. I have an MIK Jazz myself, and it has sounded very nice with both Fender and Carvin single coil pickups. It's resonant and has particularly nice higher tones. It weighs a bunch though.

Anyway, the MIK Squiers aren't going to sell for much. I'd clean it up and play the heck out of it myself, if I were you.

Where would I find the serial number? I took a good look around but couldn't see one.

And yes it is a very heavy bass, mostly neck heavy. Which is why I bought my little Ibanez SR300.
