what fingerboard is this?

i bought a 2nd hand american fender jazz in a pretty nice price.
but the fingerboard doesn't look rosewood to me...
so i'd like you to help me identify what fingerboard this may be...

Looks like Pau Ferro to me. My '97 Am. Jazz V had a Pau Ferro board.

i think that it's 'bolivian rosewood'.

translation in Portugese/Brazilian:
pau=wood
ferro=iron

It's just a really dark maple.........or maybe this wood called Pau Ferro that I just started hearing about.
