Of course you can choose whatever you want. But Victor Wooten stands about 5'0" and has tiny hands. I think that we can all agree the man knows his way around a bass. He plays regular and even long scale basses, 4, 5, and 6 strings. So if he can play huge necks.......... just throwing that out there.

The red trans finish short scale jaguar bass from squier has a wide range of tones and playability with its p/j pickups, and its sweet looking, too.

Lakland just came out with a new skyline from Namm that is a 30" scale. Looks awesome. I think they said it would be a touch over a grand. I'm thinking about getting one myself!Click image for larger version

Jordan Eberhardt (former bassist for Scale the Summit) met Victor Wooten, has a picture of the two of them together on his (Jordan's) Facebook profile. Jordan is a rather tall guy and when I asked him, he said that Victor was a tad bit taller than me...and I'm 5'6".
