"Science" does not "do" things. It is a discipline for how we come to understand things.

Not sure what your issue was precisely with that bass, but pretty sure some player did whatever the mod was you don't like. Not related to "science."

However, Darwin's theories related to natural selection might have some bearing that would interest you in this case....

The real problem is what he wants for it. I'd get it for the neck and do something cool with it; T-Bird Body, for instance. What're you gonna do now?... give it a good functional home. There's no crying in bass...
