What is the history behind this Harmony Bass.

Just got a Harmony bass for just $50 from CL. Sound and play ok. But super heavy as tank. All maple neck and finger board as well as the body. Super heavy brass bridge and knobs.
Someone told me this is a USA brand and MIJ. Is there any info about this brand and please do help me to ID this bass?
