classic rock - Beatles, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, etc. and folk / folk rock.
This is what I play but I don't see the Casady as limited to that material. It has a rich tone and action, feels, sounds and looks great. I put Tomastik flat wounds on it and they work very well.
I also have an Ibanez SR and a schecter. Love em all.

I play a lot of psychadelic with it, and a bit of Booneville Stomp type slap.

Relatively few things I wouldn't have tried with my Casady. It would be safe for anything except the most modern sounds. Apart from that, it's a really robust critter - Almost sounds like a distant genetic relative to the P bass.

Surf and classic rock. Fine for blues, too.

It's a bass...it plays fine for whatever you need a bass for.

Metal. Of course.

Well, anything that you can play with that mega vintage tone, like The Beatles or stuff. I don't dig it though.

Stoner rock for sure. It just oozes tone in that context. Fat, warm, and growly. Great basses.

Casady + Sunn + 8x10 + Going to 11 = Awesome
