What kind of music do you play with you 7+ string basses?

Hey, I am not really interested in moving to basses with a billion strings, but I can understand why people would play then, and I was curious about this and I couldn't find it with the search function.
I know that any bass can play any style, but extended range instruments look to me as something more suitable for some sort of complex jazz, progressive metal, progressive rock, math rock, that sort of thing. Complicated music so to speak.
So, for you people who play basses with 7 or more strings, what kind of music do you play? And if it is not asking much, what tuning do you use?

I use straight 4ths..

I play it in duos and trios.. can play common melody and chord lines.

Can fill in during solos to back a guitarist.
