I now own this:

Fender Jazz Bass (1966)

Celinder J Update 4 (1998)

Blade B2 Tetra Bass (2001)

Fender Standard Jazz fretless (2002)

Fender Deluxe Jazz V (1998)

Squier JV Precision (1982)

Yamaha BB N5II (2001)

Aguilar set (AG500SC + 2x DB112)

And my current, very nice guitar set:

Squier Standard Strat (2004) with Epiphone Valve Jr. (2010)

I really, réally like this setup right now. I might be considering something new in the future (Musicman Sterling...), but for now, I'm satisfied.

I like that blade a lot. Looks like a parts bass I used to have that I made the mistake of selling.

You're happy with just 7 basses?

I don't know. I have a feeling that when I get to 7 it isn't going to be enough. But, there's not much hope for me.

Dunno? Looks like you've got it covered. I'd say a Rob Allen, it would be totally different from everything else you have!

You are satisfied? You sure must be a newbie when it comes to GAS! I see no 6 strings I see no fretless 5 and 6 strings especially without lined fingerboard. I see no 8 string (doubled) or 12 string (doubled). I see no 7 or 8 string (not doubled). I see no acoustic or semi-hollow body. And your two 5 strings could use a few more modern friends! Like maybe a Stingray.

And while I'm at it, are you saying you only have ONE guitar? A Squirer Strat? Where are your Les Pauls? Your 7 string? Your 12 strings. Your acoustics. Your resonators? Maybe even a Dimebag Razorback as the best guitar for metal. And wouldn't ALSO owning the matching Dimebag Razorback bass be cool? Sheesh!

Music is art and in art the possible variations are endless.
