The PJ config and maple board will probably pull out some interesting sounds, and the black block inlays work suprisingly well aesthetically with the black finish + tort pickguard.

| | | | This was a limited run P-Bass Mexican Deluxe, made especially for GC. The biggest differences were, IIRC, the frosted surf green finish and the black blocks on the neck. There's a long thread on it here on TB. I played one in my local GC and wasn't all that impressed, though that might have been due to the horrible setup. |

|  | Registered User | | | | | It looks like it's a Deluxe P Bass Special, in fact the headstock says "Precision Bass Special", but it appears to be passive, with a blocked and bound neck and a Badass II, and it costs $200 more. I'm not sure that's $200 worth of improvements...
