What P Bass is this neck from?

Im the farthest thing from a Fender authenticator, but why cant it be a deluxe? I've seen RW boards on Deluxes before.

Not sure but the new Fender Deluxe USA Precision bass has five screws. The decal is different too. Unless this is real NOS from previous design

It's from an older (90's) American Deluxe Precision Bass. The ones with the double jazz pickup at the bridge. Smaller headstock, and 22 frets. The newer one's have 5 bolt attatchment, but the older models only had 4.

Oh also worth noting, this probably wouldnt work on a standard Fender P body.

Yeah these necks were longer than the standard 20 fret Fender necks so you'd have a lot of intonation problems unless you relocate your bridge. Also not sure if the heel shape/width would even match up.

Serial number indicates that it is a 98 if that is any help.
