White, off-white or white pearl. Complements it perfectly.

Unlike most here, I think Tort/Red looks awful over green. Way too clashy.

There is an off-white pearloid (cream? vintage?) that looks nice on the light colored bodies. Sorry no pics handy.

White pearl.
+1 to that. Tort on pastel colors look like barf - contrasts way too much and I think its just tort-syndrome that drive people into putting tort on everything.

White pearl!

My opinion is, if you're going with a classic Fender color, why not keep with that look and put on the classic looking mint/parchment guard?

You really can't go wrong, it's a time tested choice that will ALWAYS look great.

Check out some pics online of old Chevy's from the 50's 60's and see how they accented the cars

I really don't like tort pickguards. I'd say white MOP.

I love SFG/white. If white doesn't work for you, then I'd suggest:
parchment
cream
gold anodized
white MOP/pearloid

I definitely agree.

I also don't like tort with cool colors: LPB, Sherwood Green, etc.

Now that I think of it, I only like tort with traditional bursts.

I call them "tort-alitarians". With love, of course.

Isn't it great that we have so many choices? Why not embrace the difference instead of bashing the TORT lovers?

I went to Bass pro shop and to my surprise they didn't have a single bass guitar.
