What pickguard should I get for my White/Rosewood neck Strat?

I'm sorry this isn't a question about basses and if the mods would like me to move it somewhere else, I will do so. Anyway...
I bought an old (about 20 years old) Squier affienty strat in white for 30 quid and I'm actually really impressed with the tone of it. It sounds like it should be worth at least 250, but I'm not crazy on how she looks, and I'm thinking of getting a new pickguard for it, but I can't decide on a colour.

you know how the metal ones on the j mascis jazzmaster. well if you could get a strat one like that in silver and give it a quick coat in gold paint and let it wear in

I voted black. Dunno enough about the diff between 1 and 3 ply. But black pickgaurd goes well with white body.

Mother of Pearl looks good on white. I assembled this Strat for my guitarists B-day. And I also used tuning machines that had pearl button heads, so it tied everything together with the pickguard.

On stark white I like mint or tort, but a reddish tort.

I used to really love pearloid but I found I got tired of it pretty quick. I still think it looks good on some colors (especially LPB) but...whatever you decide, let us know.
