I don't know if I've seen it before:

Also, I'd like to add, I think this guy has that ideal 'Geddy' Ric tone!

That looks to me to be the ultimate in Ric finishes: BurgundyGlo. I've always wanted a 4001 in that finish. It's stellar.

I really don't like the color burgundy. But when I think of a 4001 I'm thinking bergundy. It reminds me of Cliff Burton's bass in Cliff 'em all, before he modified it.

That guy's tone in the youtube clip is great.

Love that Ric finish. The only one I like better than that one is the Red with black binding and black pick guard.

Yep, Burgundy, that's a beaut alright. Nice playing and tone too, despite the audio clipping a bit in the video.

There have been various variations of Burgundyglo over the years. In the late 60's and early 70's it was almost eggplant in colour which made it appear to be Jetglo from a distance. You could only tell that it was BG when you were very close to it.

This is my 73 pictured below before it was stolen (Ser# MD1582). This photo was taken on a very sunny day.

As you can clearly see, it's a much darker Burgundy than the bass in the video and the one pictured above.
