I saw it at Guitar Center for $250. The pickups were EMG-HZ's, bolt-on neck. Little nicks here and there but it comes with a case:
It played pretty sweet. What the heck is it and do you guys think it's a good buy? |

I was under the impression that While Kramer owned the Spector name, Stuart was working under the name "SSD", once Kramer had went belly up at that time, Stuart took the Spector name back. I believe the "SSD's" were in the "SSD" basses (in that time period), not in the newer ones, like the Legends........ Although I could be wrong |

SSD was after Kramer went under, but before Stuart got the rights to the Spector name back. this isn't a Kramer Spector. After Stuat Got the rights to SPECTOR back from a Defunct Kramer, he started making SPECTOR basses again.

It is easily among the top basses I have ever owned. I just love the way it plays & sounds. $250 is CHEAP. They're on ebay in the $350 range. I bought mine new for somewhere in the fours if my memory serves. Tried a few and liked this one best. Now Spectors are just about all I play.
