What are you eyeing for your next purchase?

Fender '51 P RI for me. Butterscotch w/ a black pg.

A lot like this one:

I never know until I find it. But I like what I see up there.

BenBL 01-18-2013 10:54 PM

Squire CV Jazz in white or an SUB4 in that walnut finish

bound'n'blocked 01-18-2013 11:05 PM

Actually I made it tonight...

Carvin BK50A kit. Alder body, maple neck with birdseye maple board with MOP diamond shaped inlays. Chrome hardware. Should be here in around 2 weeks or so. Haven't decided on a color yet, but I'm leaning toward a transparent blue.

BnB

I'd like to find a 300w combo amp of some kind. Probably used.

domdec314 01-18-2013 11:58 PM

In the next few months I'd like to get a Warwick 5 string bass. Either a Corvette or a Star bass. Most likely from the Pro series unless I find a German one at a good price. If I suddenly came into a bunch money, I'd get a Cataldo JAEbird 5 string bass.

hsech 01-19-2013 12:11 AM

I'm bidding on a Tobias Growler on EBay.

Aznslappadabass 01-19-2013 12:15 AM

Probably a Matt Freeman signature precision or a gk mb115 + short stack

TolerancEJ 01-19-2013 12:27 AM

My 2013 short list, wishlist is:
1. F Bass BN6, Trans Blue NPF finish
2. EBMM Bongo HH 6
3. Steve Bailey signature: either a used Fender Fretless 6 or his new Warwick Artist/Proline Fretless 6
4. Ibanez Gerald Veasley budget model GVB36
5. Fender Pawn Shop Bass VI, Black with Tort pickguard

SquierJazz72 01-19-2013 12:47 AM

Whether or not it will actually get to be my next purchase, I sampled an MIM Precision bass that I would love to have. If not that one, my next purchase will be a P bass of some kind, likely a Squier, if I can't swing the Fender.

Rip Topaz 01-19-2013 01:41 AM

Warmoth (or my own build) slab bodied P, with some interesting mods. I really want a Jazz bass but don't like the shape, so I'm gonna do a "tele J", but first, a slab P.
All of my basses are P's right now, the tele style, so to make a P with Jazz pickups with a tele style guard would be cool. Just gotta work out the design to make it look right.

My slab P will be a reverse headstock like the Dusty version.

Peavey VB-2 with 2 TVX 410s :bassist:

Diesel Kilgore 01-19-2013 02:13 AM

Dano Hodad or SX Jazz in LPB.

Octaves 01-19-2013 02:55 AM

A Warwick Jazzman, Corvette Standard or Streamer... Can't decide which

Something with a very small, well balanced contoured body.

sj_bass 01-19-2013 02:59 AM

Looks like it might be a Spector NS2 for me... Don't know much about them, but they look kinda cool - and different from the dozen or so Fenders I've got in the stable...

Geetarstar 01-19-2013 03:04 AM

Fender Deluxe Active Jazz 4 string in candy apple red or a fraken american jazz of the same color.

Also if I have some coin left over a Squire CV PBass in fiesta red.

thedudebrah 01-19-2013 03:43 AM

Oh jeez.

A new Bass VI, a 51 RI to replace the one I sold a few years back, a sonic blue 63 AVRI P, and possibly a RIC.

Add to that list parts for the two franken-Ps I'm building.

thors hammer 01-19-2013 03:49 AM

Has to be a Dingwall Z3

Buckeye burl top.

Better start saving.

Stealth 01-19-2013 04:39 AM

A cheap Essex-style Jazz Bass, or another one of their six-strings. One, I don't have a Jazz bass and I want one for a frankenproject, two, I already have one of their six-strings so I want to have another one and go fretless. :D
