Now for some painful pruning to compensate...

Me too, but probably the Squier CV version. Whoops, quoted the wrong one, supposed to be the pic in the OP...

I'm not GASing too hard for anything right now, but there's a good chance my next music purchase will be either a Breedlove C25/SMe acoustic...

a nice 3/4-size upright bass with a dark stain, or bass fuzz and synth pedals.

Either:
A US Lakland 44-02
The new Musicman Sabre
An F-Bass VF4
A Michael Tuttle or Wilkins P/J
A Benavente DC4 or...
A Fodera Monarch Standard

Talk about tough decisions, huh?
Wish $$ grew right on trees!

If you're having Ben build you a bass maybe you'd like to join the "official" Ben Lindsey Bass Club and share your experiences during the build. Official Ben Lindsey Bass Club

Maybe the new Moog Sub-Phatty synthesizer. Bass-wise, I need nothing, but if Ampeg does that new re-issue B-15, that would be nice to have.

My girlfriend said she is going to buy me a U-Bass in March for my birthday. Other than that, I've been getting rid of gear I don't really play....

A higher end J bass. Maybe a used Sadowsky vintage J or an Alleva Copollo and a rosewood fingerboard Stingray(no later than a '90). I just saw some Stingray Slo basses that would be cools to own too. Need to come up with more bread...

I've got a RIC 4003 from 2011 that is sitting in it's case gettingthe occasion look, but very little playing. I have been wrestling myself about keeping it or getting rid of it and using the funds to buy something else or just keeping it. I honestly don't know what I would get with the money from the RIC... I have no gas.
I suppose, if I had the $$$ I would get another Pedulla Rapture as the one I currently have gets all my gigging time, but even at that, I cannot justify the cost.
Push came to shove, I would look at a Les Paul bass if the price was right, but in reality, I have no gas... somehow, that just seems like the wrong thing to say on this site! LOL

I know where I can get a smoking deal on a barely played 2004 Ric.

I'm saving my dimes and nickels...

a 5 String Jazz Bass, nothing fancy though. Maybe a Squier vm jazz V or MIM Fender standard jazz V.
